Proclinical is seeking a Sales Specialist to join a dynamic team focused on supporting sales efforts in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical sectors across Japan. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining and developing customer relationships, generating new leads, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to business growth while engaging with a diverse and innovative industry.

Responsibilities:

• Support Sales Specialists with routine and repeat business opportunities.
• Engage with untapped segments of the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical market to build and maintain customer relationships.
• Generate and qualify new leads through trade shows and targeted marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with internal specialists to address customer inquiries, provide pricing, and close sales.
• Perform project management tasks, including schedule maintenance for ongoing projects.
• Handle administrative tasks such as shipping study reports and invoices to customers.
• Attend conferences, sales meetings, and trade shows as needed.
• Develop and execute marketing campaigns to support product lines or sites, generating new leads and coordinating face-to-face meetings.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Native proficiency in Japanese.
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent in life sciences or a related discipline.
• Experience in the life sciences industry, with sales or sales support experience preferred.
• Strong English communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce is an advantage.
