Description
Nous embauchons un(e) responsable en santé et sécurité au travail. Ce poste consiste à élaborer, mettre en œuvre et maintenir un programme de prévention ainsi que les protocoles de santé et sécurité en conformité avec la législation, les politiques de l’entreprise et les bonnes pratiques. Le ou la responsable en santé et sécurité collabore avec l’ensemble des départements afin de promouvoir une culture de prévention, réduire les risques, gérer les accidents/incidents et assurer le bien-être des employés et des visiteurs. Il s’agit d’un poste permanent à temps plein.

Compétences et qualifications souhaitées
Diplôme ou certificat de premier cycle en santé et sécurité au travail ou équivalent
Certifications pertinentes en santé et sécurité (p. ex., PSAC®, TSAC®)
Expérience de travail dans l’industrie aérospatiale
Expérience préalable comme professionnel, technicien ou représentant en santé et sécurité, ou poste équivalent
Passion pour le vol spatial et l’exploration de l’espace
Langues
• Anglais (Obligatoire)

Description
We are hiring a Safety Coordinator. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a prevention program and safety protocols that align with legislation, company policies, and best practices. The Safety Coordinator works collaboratively across departments to foster a culture of safety, mitigate risks, manage accidents/incidents, and ensure the well-being of employees and visitors. This is a full-time permanent position.

Job Responsabilities
• Develop, maintain, and implement a Prevention Program and supporting safety protocols.
• Be the Safety Representative:
o Conduct work environment safety inspections
o Ensure all personnel and visitors adhere to safety protocols
o Develop and deliver safety training sessions
o Maintain safety records and risk register
o File and investigate on accident/incident reports
o Coordinate communications with CNESST
• Identify and assess hazardous situations, implement corrections, and control mitigation strategies
• Coordinate the health and safety committee activities.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety legislation
Necessary Skills and Qualifications
• College degree in Environment, Health and Safety or equivalent
• 3+ years of safety experience in a high-risk environment
• Effective communicator with the ability to influence, inform, and engage stakeholders
• Familiarity with applicable health and safety legislation
• Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations
• Demonstrated competence in self-directed work and team collaboration
• Ability to strategically develop safety personnel as operational needs evolve
• Positive attitude in the face of challenges and adverse conditions
• Strive on continuous improvement
• Eligibility for Canadian Controlled Goods Program security assessment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred Skills and Qualitifications
• Undergraduate degree/certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
• Relevant safety certifications (e.g., CRSP®, CRST®)
• Experience working within the aerospace industry
• Prior experience as a Safety Coordinator/Technician/Representative or equivalent
• Passion for space flight and space exploration
