Job Title: Electronics Designer

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electronic circuit designs efficiently and effectively.
• Build, test, and refine prototypes, ensuring functionality and excellence.
• Collaborate actively with various teams, ensuring alignment and feasibility of designs.
• Take feedback from team members, integrating this into ideas for improvement of designs and prototypes.
• Assist with developing and maintaining product instructions, warranty information, test/work instructions and jigs.
• Assist with drafting comprehensive technical documentation for each design, ensuring that all aspects of the design and its functionality are clearly articulated for future reference and knowledge transfer.
• Stay updated with industry trends, integrating new knowledge into designs.
• Ensure designs are meeting the highest standards of safety and compliance.
• Drafting schematic diagrams and developing PCB layouts.
• Administering all engineering changes, both for new parts and parts currently in production - ensuring all change notifications are completed and all production changes are coordinated between the necessary teams.
• Part and documentation setup for SMT, Electronics, and Assembly.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair electronics equipment machinery.
• Provide technical support to other departments.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement with a willingness to participate in personal growth initiatives.
• Completed a post-secondary Electronic Engineering program or related field.
• Strong proficiency in electronic circuit design.
• Collaborative mindset, ready to work with diverse teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to use feedback constructively.
• Familiarity with electronic design automation (EDA) tools for circuit design and PCB layout.
• Some familiarity with programming languages like C/C++.
• Familiarity with embedded design related to designing circuitry and programming is an asset.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.

Pay: From $58,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Electronic Design: 1 year (preferred)
• C/C++: 1 year (preferred)
