Our team is looking for a consultant for our Group Benefits practice. This is a permanent, full-time position at our Toronto office .

Your mission:

  • Coordinate projects and manage the work done by analysts and associate consultants.
  • Develop strategies and solutions for group insurance plan costs and funding.
  • Play an active role in client meetings and support senior consultants in business development initiatives.
  • Perform various analyses, and prepare and peer review calculations and reports to ensure the quality and accuracy of our recommendations.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to internal and external client requests, directing more complex cases to the appropriate people.
  • Keep your colleagues informed of your progress and any difficulties you encounter.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a thorough understanding of client needs and proposed solutions.
  • Ensure continual monitoring of market developments and new regulations.
  • Suggest improvements to processes, policies and standards when deemed relevant.
  • Help plan work that concerns you, including quality reviews and preparations for meetings with internal teams or providers.
  • Follow up on pending questions proactively and autonomously.
  • Plan and prioritize your workload for the short term, while considering your team’s annual cycles.
  • Participate in internal projects such as the development of expertise and tools.

To be eligible for this position, you must have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role with a broker, a consulting firm or an insurance company. An academic background in actuarial science, mathematics, finance, economics or business administration is an asset. You must also demonstrate that you possess the required qualities:
