Job Title: Commercial Roofer
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Roofer to assist in the installation of various commercial roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, and metal roofing. This role involves loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment at job sites, removing old roofing materials, and preparing surfaces for new installations. The successful candidate will operate hand and power tools safely and effectively while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Following safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of commercial roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, and metal roofing.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
• Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installations.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Support the roofing crew with tasks as directed by the foreman or superintendent.
• Perform general labor duties such as lifting, carrying, and positioning materials.
• Help with waterproofing, flashing, and sealing roof penetrations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in roofing or construction preferred but not required.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

• Reliable transportation to job sites.
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
• Must be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Mankato, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr.
