Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Building Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents in a multi-family residential building. This role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness of common areas and upholding property standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize all common areas, including: hallways, stairwells, elevators, laundry rooms, shared kitchens or bathrooms, entrances and lobbies.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly.
• Empty garbage and recycling bins in common areas.
• Clean windows, doors, and interior glass surfaces.
• Dust railings, baseboards, and fixtures.
• Notify management of any damage, repairs, or safety concerns.
• Replenish restroom and janitorial supplies as needed.
• Maintain outdoor cleanliness: sweep entranceways, pick up litter, shovel snow or salt walkways (seasonal).
• Follow cleaning schedules and safety procedures, including proper use of cleaning products and equipment.
• Experience in residential or commercial cleaning is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Reliable, punctual, and respectful of residents' privacy.
• Criminal background check may be required.
