Job Description

A leading independent accountancy firm is looking to recruit an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior. This role will see you working across audit, statutory accounts, and tax compliance for a broad range of SME and mid-sized group clients, including those scaling towards sale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading audits for SME and mid-sized group clients, including large group audits
• Preparing statutory accounts and ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and FRS 102
• Corporate and personal tax compliance for owner-managed businesses
• Supporting clients with complex financial matters and business structuring
• Working alongside corporate finance colleagues on advisory projects

The Ideal Candidate:

• ACA/ACCA qualified or finalist with strong audit and compliance experience
• Comfortable managing a portfolio of SME and mid-sized group clients
• Able to handle more complex accounting matters within a practice environment
• Strong technical knowledge and a proactive approach to problem-solving
