Job Description

Airswift is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to work with one of our O&G clients in Calgary, AB on a 12-months contract position.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute throughout all key stages of the sourcing life cycle, from strategy to contract execution and administration. Be a part of a team who drives change and looks for continuous improvements!

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support all phases of the sourcing cycle—including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), proposal evaluations, awards, contract formation, and administration, and closing out contracts for Conventional and Thermal Operations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of contract data into relevant systems.
  • Maintain auditable files for all contracts to ensure proper documentation is in place and can be referred to if needed.
  • Contribute to vendor development and more specifically supplier relationship management programs.
  • Analyze and provide marketplace research and data analysis.
  • Develop and submit reports and other metrics as and when required, such as spend evaluation and cost comparisons.
  • Drive results under tight timelines and track action items, while working with key internal stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of supply management / supply chain experience and contract management experience
  • Completion of a university degree or related post-secondary education
  • Familiarity with and understanding of contract formation and contract administration
  • Developing Request for Proposals for variety of services and materials
  • Carrying out analytical evaluation of commercial information
  • Experience with contract management systems such as Ivalua
  • Robust spend data analysis skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to build rapport and positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
