We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to lead the construction of a mid-rise multi-residential project from groundbreaking to occupancy.

The Role

As the Site Superintendent, you will be the on-site leader, managing daily construction activities, coordinating trades, and ensuring the project is delivered on schedule, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, and consultants to drive project success while fostering a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all site construction activities, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Develop and maintain the project schedule, tracking progress and addressing issues proactively.
  • Coordinate and supervise all subcontractors, trades, and site staff.
  • Conduct daily site meetings, inspections, and progress reports.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control and workmanship.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health and safety policies, including toolbox talks and hazard assessments.
  • Manage site logistics, including deliveries, material storage, and site cleanliness.
  • Communicate effectively with the Project Manager, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve site challenges.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in construction, with at least 3 years as a Site Superintendent on mid-rise residential projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with construction scheduling software and Microsoft Office tools.
