GENERAL SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Revenue Manager to lead our Commercial Team at Ottawa Marriott Hotel. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for optimizing the hotel's topline revenue opportunities. Your expertise in forecasting, data analytics, and market intelligence will drive key performance indicators such as TrevPAR, GOP, and market share. As a strategic leader, you will collaborate closely with the hotel's leadership group, positively influencing business acumen and fostering a culture of revenue optimization

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

  • Supervise the Central Services Team, including Group Housing & Reservations, Room Control, and At Your Service.
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Team to achieve key monthly metrics such as budget, forecast accuracy, RPI, guest satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Continuously monitor the hotel's competitive market and designated benchmark set.
  • Ensure the implementation of effective revenue strategies, oversee their execution, and ensure adherence across all revenue-generating departments.
  • Develop and execute strategic pricing and business evaluation process for transient, group, catering business.
  • Analyze and maintain statistical data for informed decision-making, while preparing standard forecasts and comprehensive weekly and monthly reports for Ottawa Marriott.
  • Optimize segmentation and channel mix to maximize revenue performance.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with OTAs, FIT partners, and call centers.
  • Foster positive relationships with key stakeholders, including the internal teams, regional revenue team, brand representatives, and ownership.
  • Contribute to the hotel's financial success by actively participating in annual budgeting, RFP planning, and the development of sales and marketing strategies.
  • Promote internal education on revenue management, ensuring all departments understand their impact on overall revenue performance.
  • Other reasonable duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience and skills

  • A degree in Hotel Administration, Business Statistics, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in Revenue Management is required.
  • Strong proficiency in business intelligence (BI) tools and data analysis.
  • CRME or CHRM certification is an asset.
  • Familiarity with ONE YIELD V.2, CI/TY, MARSHA, and PMS is preferred.

Financial Responsibility:

  • Participate in preparing the annual revenue budget for guestrooms and catering F&B.
