Job Description

At Sakura Hotel, Hostel & Café Restaurant, we are excited to welcome foreign staff to be part of our diverse and dynamic team. We are looking for foreign staff to work in various areas of our hotel, café and restaurant operations.

Our facility is very popular with foreign travelers and they stay with us due to our friendly atmosphere and outgoing staff. We enjoy interacting with our guest who come from all over the world to make them feel welcome and enjoy their stay in Japan.

For over 32 years, we have proudly offered accommodation, dining, and cultural exchange opportunities to travelers from all over the globe. 【Hotel Duties】

• Support for reservation management
• Customer service (in-person, via email, and phone in both Japanese and English)
• Concierge duties (tourist information, general guest support)
• Thorough cleaning of the premises, including indoor areas, outdoor surroundings, and the back of the house
• Support in event planning and management (cultural exchange events, world cooking events, etc.)
• Managing and supporting SNS and blog posts
  (If interested, you can also get involved in store management as you become more familiar with the job)

【Café/Restaurant Duties】

• General hall service (customer service including cashiering and serving)
• Simple food preparation
• Support for menu development

● Employment Type
Part-time (with opportunities for full-time promotion)

● Salary
¥1,600 per hour (¥1,500 per hour during the training period)

● Days Off & Holidays
Two days off per week (shift system, including weekends and holidays)

● Benefits

• Transportation allowance (up to ¥20,000/month)

Sakura Hotel & Café Jimbocho: 2-21-4 Kanda Jimbocho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo
Sakura Hostel & Café Asakusa: 2-42-2 Asakusa, Taito-ku, Tokyo

● Working Hours
(1) 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
(2) 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
(3) 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM
(4) 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM (no break)
(5) 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Or between 12:00 AM and 11:59 PM, working a minimum of 5 hours
Shift system, breaks according to legal requirements
Break time: 60 minutes
Number of working days: 3-5 days per week
