About the Role

We’re looking for a permanent full-time Receptionist/Junior Administrative Assistant to join our Kamloops office. The ideal candidate will have a positive and friendly attitude and provide our clients with exceptional service. As a Receptionist/Junior Administrative Assistant at TRUE, you’ll be joining a collaborative, diverse team in an inspiring work environment. We’re large enough to offer the resources and opportunities of a multifaceted company, yet small enough to maintain a family-like atmosphere where each person’s contribution is valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greeting clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answering and directing phone calls
  • Sorting, processing and distributing incoming and outgoing mail and courier
  • Ordering and upkeep of office supplies
  • Providing support to administrative staff
  • Running office errands
  • Ensuring common areas are kept tidy and stocked as needed
  • Managing incoming and outgoing courier deliveries
  • Maintaining and reconciling petty cash
  • Filing and scanning documents
  • Printing and binding documents and drawings
  • Preparing correspondence and contract documents

What We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, strengths, and interests:

  • One year relevant experience
  • Positivity and enthusiasm
  • Professional and friendly telephone manner
  • Experience with multi-line switchboard
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills both on the phone and in person
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Post-secondary Administrative Assistant certificate or diploma, or related experience considered an asset
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to the role
  • Attention to detail and quality in your work
  • A valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License is required

Salary

The hourly rate for this position is $23-$25 per hour, depending on experience.
