Job Opening: QA Test Engineer

Our client is seeking a QA Test Engineer to join a dynamic and fast-paced technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products by designing and executing test strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement in testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Test planning & execution: Develop comprehensive test plans, design test cases, and execute them across multiple scenarios and functionalities.
• Testing coverage: Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to validate new features, safeguard existing functionality, and assess performance under different conditions.
• Defect management: Identify, document, and track defects, providing clear and actionable feedback to ensure timely resolution.
• Cross-team collaboration: Partner with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to align testing efforts and resolve issues efficiently.
• Test automation: Build and maintain automated test cases using modern tools and frameworks to increase efficiency.
• Code review participation: Contribute feedback on code quality and adherence to standards during reviews.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and consistent documentation of test plans, cases, and results for knowledge sharing.
• Continuous improvement: Suggest and implement process enhancements, tools, and methodologies to strengthen QA practices.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design effective testing strategies.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members.
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies and experience with modern testing tools/frameworks.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (a plus, especially for test automation).
