You are a strategic and detail-oriented purchasing professional with a proven ability to source quality products, negotiate competitive terms, and build strong supplier relationships. Your Impact

The Buyer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the company’s operations run smoothly by sourcing, purchasing, and managing the timely delivery of high-quality materials and products. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will collaborate closely with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders to meet purchasing needs and business objectives.

Your work will help ensure product availability, maintain cost control, and drive operational excellence through strategic sourcing and supplier performance management.

What Are We Looking For?

To be successful in this role, you should bring the following qualifications and experiences:

  • Experience: 3–5 years in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in a related industry
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Technical Aptitude: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; ERP system experience preferred
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of market dynamics, supplier capabilities, and industry trends
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to secure favorable terms and maintain productive supplier relationships
  • Detail Orientation: Highly organized with a commitment to accuracy and deadlines
  • Team Mindset: Collaborative and proactive, comfortable working cross-functionally
  • Accountability: Driven to take ownership of procurement outcomes and measure results

Your Responsibilities

  • Process and manage purchase orders accurately and in compliance with company policies
  • Source and select suppliers using market analysis and research, ensuring quality, price, and reliability
  • Maintain accurate delivery requirements, purchase records, contracts, and supplier performance data
  • Resolve delivery, quality, or pricing issues with suppliers
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to maintain optimal supply without excess stock
  • Analyze market trends to identify opportunities and risks in the supply chain
  • Conduct supplier performance evaluations and implement improvements
  • Support procurement strategies to enhance efficiency and achieve cost savings
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships
