Project Manager

On behalf of our client in the construction industry, we are looking for a Project Manager in Halifax. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the specific project actions while ensuring projects are on time, on budget, and within the scope. The successful candidate must possess the knowledge and experience to engage and professionally interact with clients, contractors, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee construction projects from start to finish.
• Work closely with the Site Superintendent.
• Award contracts to and coordinate all subcontractors.
• Create and manage the project schedule and timelines.
• Addressing and correcting any obstacles that appear over the course of the project.
• Manage the project budget to ensure adherence.
• Ensure client satisfaction.

The Ideal Candidate Brings:

• A degree or diploma in a relevant field.
• 3 or more years of experience with commercial construction projects.
• Red Seal, Gold Seal and/or LEED certifications would be considered assets.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management, problem solving, and leadership skills.
