We are looking for a Product Designer who is passionate about shaping user experiences and can collaborate cross-functionally to drive our product vision forward. As part of our core team, you’ll have a central role in designing intuitive, engaging, and impactful interfaces that will help define the future of our product.

• Develop designs from concept to execution, working closely with the Head of Product, engineers, and leadership to implement the product vision effectively.
• Conduct user research (interviews, usability tests, etc) to understand user needs and translate them into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. Engage with customers directly in discovery workshops and onboarding sessions.
• Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes for testing/quick validation and to communicate with teammates. Iterate based on feedback.
• Interaction and visual design for high-fidelity interfaces that enhance usability, accessibility, and overall user satisfaction for a cloud-based web product.
• Work closely with globally distributed engineering teams during design iteration and development, ensuring that the final product meets user and business needs.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a scalable design system to ensure consistency across all product touchpoints. Manage design files and structure (in Figma). Maintain GrowthSignals branding and advance look & feel of product over time.
• Contribute to ad hoc design projects and customer-facing materials (e.g. slide decks, 1-pagers, website). 

• Experience: 3+ years of experience as a product designer, UI/UX designer, or similar role, ideally within a startup or fast-paced environment. Experience working on AI-driven or data-centric products is a plus.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Miro)
• Strong understanding of UI/UX and interaction design, information architecture, and visual design principles. Experience creating wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes.
• Proven ability to conduct user research (various methods, qualitative preferred). Ability to synthesize insights to drive product decisions.
• Experience working closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products. Comfortable working in an agile environment.
• Ability to solve complex design challenges, especially those involving AI-based systems or large data sets, with an innovative and user-centric approach.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and explain design decisions clearly.

• Understanding of AI/ML concepts and how they impact user experience. Prior experience using and working on products with AI components is a significant advantage, specifically large language models (LLMs).
• Experience building and maintaining a design system, file structure, and components.
• Previous experience working in a startup environment where you’ve been involved in rapid prototyping, iterating, and scaling products.
• Based in Pittsburgh PA ideally, or East Coast US preferred
