Process Risk and Controls - Supervisor

We are looking for experienced professionals for the position of Process Risk and Controls - Supervisor. Candidates for this role will join a diverse, high performing team of professionals with extensive experience working with top US and Global Banking institutions in a multitude of capacities.

Client Experience  

• Leverage understanding of global banking industry trends and information technology acumen to think critically about complex challenges and propose dynamic solutions. 
• Identifying internal controls, assessing design and operational effectiveness, determining risk exposures, and developing remediation plans, determining technical and business impact of identified security and control issues, and providing remediation guidance to clients. 
• Advanced understanding of internal controls concepts and their application in client environments, specifically within complex global banking organizations. 
• Global banking industry experience with interpreting policies, procedures, and controls of business applications, networks, operating systems, and other components of their technology infrastructure. 
• Advanced ability to independently assess and provide practical guidance on the appropriateness of internal controls, assessing their design and operational effectiveness, determining risk exposures and developing remediation plans, determining technical and business impact of identified security and control issues, and providing remediation guidance to clients. 
• Ability to interpret and articulate technical findings and recommendations to a broad range of both business and information technology senior management stakeholders. 

Position Qualifications  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, accounting or related discipline. 
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in audit, internal audit or related internal control positions serving large global banking institutions. Prior public accounting or professional services firm experience is preferred. 
• Experience in leading and executing project-based work with milestones and workflow driven by objectives and defined timelines. 
• Job relevant certification (e.g. CPA, CIA) 

Preferred Qualifications  

• Experience leading project-based work with milestones and workflow driven by objectives and defined timelines 
• Proficiency in professional writing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools 
• Openness to workday flexibility, agility, remote work environment, leveraging new tools 
• Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing 
• Effective time management and prioritization skills 
• Established experience in multiple industries or subject-matter expertise in one specific industry 
• Demonstrated success in high pressure scenarios 
• Experience leading teams, mentoring staff, providing performance feedback, and monitoring workloads of the team. 

 Rate: 55 – 60 CAD per hour.
