This position with K&T Irrigation carries a wide variety of responsibilities, with the one primary responsibility is being a Field Welder. The other areas the candidate will excel in is learning the irrigation system, along with wide variety underground pipeline installations and pipeline repairs. The candidate will also learn the assembly and disassembly process of the irrigator, as we assemble new and used units, with on occasion of repairing damaged units. We expect the candidate to weld steel tubing with it ranging from 4” to 12” in diameter. We also expect the candidate to perform other forms of welding out in the field, on occasion we must do other projects within the grain bin construction department. During the coldest days and inclement weather this individual will also assist with routine maintenance of company equipment. This candidate will contribute to the success of K&T Irrigation’s Field Service team, and be dedicated to safety, quality, and efficiency. Irrigation or grain site experience is not necessary. Candidates must be eager to learn, and actively seek to master the projects they are assigned to.
