Are you interested in teaching, travelling, and contributing to international development? How about visiting over 21 ports across 14 countries? If so, join Peace Boat for the adventure of a lifetime!

The GET Programme is Peace Boat's language training initiative, conducted aboard the Pacific World, our newest and most luxurious vessel. Volunteers have the chance to travel the globe with our students, teaching practical English and Spanish through GET's task-based learning approach. Teachers will also have the opportunity to learn from a diverse group of guest educators, including academics, peace-builders, sustainability advocates, entertainers, and more, all while circumnavigating the world by sea!
We are currently accepting applications for English and Spanish teachers for Peace Boat's 121st Global Voyage.

The 122nd Global Voyage departs Yokohama, Japan on December 15, 2025, and returns on March 30, 2026. Experience the Passion and Hospitality of the Southern Hemisphere, Where the earth Rumbles and the Dance Never Stops. Witness some of earth's most magnificent natural wonders. This journey also offers an opportunity to retrace humanity's path. We'll visit Africa, the birthplace of the ancestors of all humankind, and South America, the last continent to be inhabited by humans, as well as several cultural crossroads where diverse civilizations have coexisted for centuries.

The application deadline is Monday, April 14, 2025. Interviews will be conducted online between May 7th and 14th, 2025 (JST).

While a video demonstration lesson is typically required, applicants may now choose to present their lesson during a video call at the time of the Interview with the GET panel.
