Job Description

The Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority is seeking a full-time, on-site Network Engineer Position. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi systems. Responsibilities also encompass ensuring network performance through testing and monitoring, maintaining data integrity via backups and security practices, and performing system upgrades with proper planning and coordination. The position requires collaboration with end-users and vendors to resolve network issues and support operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field from an accredited institution in the U.S. or Canada.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role.
• Certifications such as MTA: IT Infrastructure, Microsoft Security, Compliance and Identity Fundamentals, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, or Network+.
• Proficiency in network security technology and strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license, international border crossing security clearance, and a NEXUS trusted traveler card (or the ability to obtain one).

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary range: $71,900 – $105,000 CAD.
