Location: Minto Mine
Schedule: Rotational Schedule - 2 weeks on/2 weeks off
Wage: Competitive, based on experience
Experience: Labourer with light to moderate heavy equipment operation

About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Mine Site Services Labourer to join our site support team. This hands-on position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors in a remote, fast-paced environment.

You’ll support daily mine operations by maintaining clean and organized work areas, handling general labour tasks, and assisting equipment operators and trades personnel. Occasional operation of light equipment is expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general site labour including shoveling, snow removal, pumping, fencing, and clean-up
• Conduct regular garbage pickup, sorting, and safe disposal following site protocols
• Operate and maintain site incinerator in accordance with environmental and safety standards
• Clean, service, and restock job jons and portable sanitation units across site

• Assist with light maintenance and repairs on equipment, facilities, and infrastructure
• Support with setup and maintenance of site services: water/fuel systems, laydowns, roads, etc.
• Operate light to mid-size heavy equipment (e.g., loader, skid steer, telehandler) as required
• Complete daily equipment checks and assists in minor repairs or reporting issues
• Work closely with site departments to support safety, cleanliness, and production targets

Requirements

• Previous labouring experience, ideally in a mining, construction, or remote industrial environment
• Basic experience operating various pieces of heavy equipment
• Physically fit and capable of working long shifts outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license and clean abstract (Class 3 or higher an asset)
• Safety certifications such as WHMIS, First Aid, Ground Disturbance, Mine Rescue or CSTS considered assets
• Ability to work in a team and follow direction in a safety-first culture
