Medical Office Assistant (must be located in BC) Location Remote :

Medical Office Assistant duties and responsibilities:

• Register patients and maintain all patient information
• Updating patient records
• Sending tissue and fluid samples for laboratory analysis
• Communicating with labs, healthcare providers, and insurance companies
• Scheduling and confirming appointments
• Calculating billing amounts and sending bills to patients and insurance companies
• Maintaining medical inventory by ordering new supplies and equipment as needed

The ideal candidate has:

• Accuro experience ( A must have)
• Completion of a medical office assistant program or equivalent education
• Experience in a medical office or two years reception/clerical experience
• Knowledge of medical terms an asset
• Strong organization and multitasking skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good work and attendance

Working days: Monday, Wednesday and Friday

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
