Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Engineer, Mechanical & Piping, the Mechanical Engineer  Junior (Engineer-in-Training or early-career Mechanical Engineer) will support mechanical and piping design, analysis, and execution for projects across the KSPC portfolio. This role will be based in both the Saskatoon Office and the Bethune Mine as part of a rotational assignment, providing the opportunity to work in both a design/engineering office environment and in the field. The scope of work includes engineering studies, detailed engineering, coordination of work, and field engineering during construction.

- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Eligible for registration as an Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) with APEGS (or equivalent).
- 05 years of mechanical engineering experience; co-op or internship experience in mining and/or heavy industry preferred.
- Familiarity with mechanical equipment, piping systems, and rotating machinery is an asset.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills; able to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to rotate between Saskatoon Office and Bethune Mine as project needs.
