Project Services Manager

📍 Location: North America (Flexible/Remote – Some Travel May Be Required)

A market-leading manufacturer of building solutions is seeking a Project Services Manager to lead and optimize the performance of its Project Services Team across North America.

This role is responsible for delivering customer-focused project services at scale, driving process alignment, ensuring high-quality technical outputs, and leading a multidisciplinary team across planning, documentation, and customer delivery.

PMP certification is required.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Team Leadership & Resource Management

  • Lead, coach, and structure a high-performing Project Services team to meet business demands.
  • Allocate and optimize team resources based on project complexity, schedules, and delivery requirements.
  • Participate in training development plans and manage execution for all team members.

🔹 Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement

  • Implement departmental strategies in alignment with divisional goals.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by driving standardization, process upgrades, and systems enhancement.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCCA) and assign resources to customer claims resolutions.

🔹 Systems & Performance Management

  • Ensure all team members are fully trained on SAP and capable of supporting key business processes.
  • Track, report, and analyze weekly/monthly KPIs to monitor team and individual performance.
  • Liaise with SAP and internal technical teams to align development efforts with business priorities.

🔹 Project Oversight & Customer Focus

  • Ensure timely and complete execution of customer orders (OTIF delivery).
  • Coordinate closely with technical departments to ensure detail consistency and policy adherence.
  • Drive a customer-first culture with a focus on quality, accountability, and responsiveness.

Required Qualifications

✔ Bachelor’s degree (Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or similar)

✔ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification – mandatory

✔ 10+ years of industry experience, including:

• 5+ years in building products or manufacturing

• 5+ years working with construction documentation

• 5+ years with ERP/CRM systems (SAP and Salesforce preferred)

✔ Experience leading cross-functional technical teams

✔ Expertise in interpreting architectural and structural construction drawings

Technical Skills

  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoDesk Suite); Revit or Tekla preferred
  • Familiarity with Project Management Software: Primavera, Procore, MS Project
  • Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills
  • Comfortable with fast-paced, data-driven decision making
