Job Description

• University degree supplemented with courses and specific training in accounting;
• 3 to 5 years of financial accounting experience required;
• Possesses or pursuing a recognized accounting designation (CPA);
• Experience with accounting and/or enterprise reporting systems strongly preferred (i.e., Accpac/Sage 300, Doclink);
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and MS Office applications;
• Ability to interpret financial reports, ledgers, graphs, and tables;
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail;
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking;
• Results and task oriented;
• Flexible and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines;
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization;
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a positive contributor to the team;
• Strong work ethic and sense of ownership and confidentiality.
