Job Description

This is a key account management role focused on selling industrial robot solutions to major automotive OEMs. The Sales Manager will lead strategic engagement with engineering, production, and procurement teams, tailoring automation solutions to meet complex manufacturing needs.

Description

This is a strategic sales role focused on OEM engagement and solution selling. The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Manage relationships with JOEMs, understanding their production processes and automation needs.
* Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive engagement with OEM stakeholders.
* Present and demonstrate industrial robot solutions, highlighting technical capabilities and ROI.
* Collaborate with internal engineering teams to customize solutions for each OEM.
* Negotiate contracts and pricing in line with company guidelines.
* Provide regular sales forecasts and market insights to leadership.
* Coordinate closely with regional operations to support OEM's production base.
* Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.

Profile

* Proven sales experience in industrial automation or robotics, ideally within automotive manufacturing.
* Strong technical understanding of industrial robots and their applications.
* Experience managing key accounts in a B2B environment.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Fluent in Japanese and English.
* Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and industry events.
* Proficiency in PowerPoint; MBA is a plus.
