POSITION REPORTS TO: Operations Manager

POSITIONS REPORTING TO THIS POSITION: Nil

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal:  Guest Relations, Guest Services, Kitchen, Food & Beverage
External:  Guests

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:

Conduct preventive maintenance and to conduct repairs of hotel FFE.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (Include but not limited to:)

• Inspect: Regularly inspect equipment, machinery, and facilities for potential issues
• Repair: Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and structural issues
• Maintain: Perform routine maintenance, such as cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments
• Respond to emergencies: Address critical issues promptly to minimize downtime
• Install: Assist with installing new equipment and machinery
• Ensure safety: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines
• Collaborate: Work with other maintenance team members, engineers, and managers
• Record: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
• Paint and finish: Paint and finish surfaces to maintain a clean appearance
• Clean: Clean common areas, restrooms, and break rooms

KEY POSITION CRITERIA:

• Experience with general maintenance.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 10kg.
• Ability to work in shifts.
• Mechanical aptitude
• Organization
• Attention to detail
• Physical stamina
• Ability to frequently stand up, bend, climb, kneel, and move about the facility
• Ability to frequently handle objects and equipment
• Ability to regularly use commercial chemicals
