Job Description

Join a global healthcare organization in Tokyo as the sole IT specialist, taking full ownership of IT operations and ensuring smooth daily workflows. Collaborate with international teams on impactful projects while directly supporting employees and patient-focused services.

Description

* Provide expert desk-side and field IT support for hardware, software, and network issues across the Tokyo office.
* Act as the local point of contact, coordinating with global IT teams to ensure smooth operations and project alignment.
* Lead the local rollout of IT projects, ensuring successful implementation and adoption.
* Maintain shared IT facilities, including meeting rooms, video conferencing systems, and printers.
* Manage IT onboarding and offboarding processes, including hardware distribution and account setup.
* Handle incident and request management, collaborating with remote IT partners to resolve issues promptly.
* Oversee local IT procurement, including raising purchase orders and approving invoices according to global policies.
* Maintain organized IT stockrooms, ensuring adequate inventory and a clean, orderly environment.

Profile

* Holds a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT or a related field.
* Has at least 3 years of experience providing IT support in corporate or commercial environments.
* Possesses strong knowledge of ITIL processes and vendor management.
* Fluent in both Japanese and English, with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
* Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in fast-paced settings.
* Works well independently but also collaborates effectively across teams and departments.
* Has a proactive, service-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality IT support.
