About the Company

Elescend Marketing is a fast-growing Toronto-based digital marketing agency supporting startups and small businesses across North America. We specialize in SEO, paid ads, content marketing, website management, and social media strategy.

We are seeking a talented and versatile Freelance Graphic Designer to partner with us on a per-project basis. You'll be instrumental in translating our clients' brand visions and marketing objectives into compelling visual assets across various digital and print mediums. This is a remote role, and adherence to project deadlines is essential.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

Your primary responsibility will be to create impactful visual designs that meet client needs and enhance their brand presence. This includes:

• Print Material Design: Develop high-quality designs for print collateral such as brochures, flyers, business cards, and other promotional items.
• Visual Asset Creation: Design a wide range of marketing materials, including digital ads (social media, display), website graphics (banners, icons, UI elements), email templates, and presentations.
• Brand Identity Support: Assist in developing and maintaining client brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all visual communications.
• Conceptualization: Translate creative briefs and marketing strategies into compelling visual concepts and finished designs.
• Infographic & Data Visualization: Create clear and engaging infographics and data visualizations that effectively convey complex information.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our marketing strategists and content creators to ensure visual designs align with overall campaign goals.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within an agency setting or working with multiple clients.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and Figma.
• Proven experience in designing print materials, including preparing files for commercial printing.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout across both digital and print.
• Ability to translate complex ideas and marketing objectives into clear, visually appealing designs.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-driven, adaptable, and a strong communicator, capable of working independently to meet deadlines.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing a diverse range of graphic design work across digital and print mediums is required.

Important: About This Role

This is an independent contractor position, not an employee role. The selected individual will be responsible for their own schedule, equipment, and tax obligations. We will provide clear project briefs and a defined scope of work for each engagement.
