Tiwana Framing Ltd. located at 13432 Waterford, Surrey, BC V3W 6V2 is looking to hire framer-carpenter to join their team as soon as possible.

Job details :

Salary : $36.75/hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week

Terms of employment : Permanent employment, Full time, Day

Start date : as soon as possible

Job requirements

Languages : English

Education : Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience : 3 years to less than 5 years

Specific Skills

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Prepare tenders and quotations
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
• Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
• Instruct apprentices
• Estimate costs and materials
