• We're seeking a Director of AI to replace our current director and lead AI initiatives with both strategic vision and technical expertise.
• In this role, you will lead a team of machine learning engineer and closely work with other senior leaders to level up the business to next level.

• Lead AI/ML strategy and technical direction aligned with company objectives
• Identify AI opportunities to enhance customer experience, operations, and business impact
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, sales, and customer success
• Oversee complete AI feature lifecycle from prototype to production deployment
• Monitor and optimize KPIs for AI-driven features post-launch
• Establish ML operations, data infrastructure, and model lifecycle best practices
• Communicate complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Your Skills

• Master's in Computer Science, Physics, Applied Math, or related field (Ph.D. preferred)
• 8+ years ML engineering/data science experience with 3+ years management/strategic role
• Proven track record leading AI projects from concept to launch with KPI optimization
• Experience building and deploying deep learning models in customer-facing applications
• Production experience with personalization, recommendation systems, or NLP
• Strong technical knowledge of ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and MLOps tools
• Excellent leadership and organizational alignment capabilities
• Pragmatic decision-making skills for technical trade-offs
• Strong communication skills across diverse stakeholder groups
• Hands-on team management skills and experience

• 15 million yen - 20 milion yen
