Deployment Strategist - Project Management

Location: SF (preferred) or Remote

About the role:

Our client is a rapidly growing AI-focused startup revolutionizing industries like insurance, finance, and healthcare with cutting-edge AI models and systems. As a Deployment Strategist , youll play a crucial role in deploying AI systems for enterprise clients. Youll work directly with customers and partners to ensure smooth onboarding, successful deployments, and long-term adoption, all while leveraging innovative technology in high-stakes environments.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for enterprise customers and system integrator (SI) partners during deployment and onboarding.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and success metrics across multiple engagements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to translate customer needs into actionable tasks and feature requirements.
• Lead customer workshops, check-ins, and QBRs to align on goals and ensure satisfaction throughout the deployment lifecycle.
• Identify and mitigate risks to successful delivery, escalating issues when necessary.
• Create repeatable processes, templates, and onboarding playbooks to streamline customer deployments.

What Were Looking For

• Experience : 3-5 years in customer-facing project or program management roles, preferably within enterprise software or AI/ML environments.
• Experience managing technical deployments or system integrations in regulated industries (ideally: insurance , finance, healthcare) - MUST HAVE
• Technical Skills : Familiarity with AWS or Azure and experience with API integrations and AI/ML-based platforms.
• Startup Experience : Strong preference for candidates with startup experience, particularly in the AI space.
