As a Control Room Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as security operation centres , call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.

Responsibilities for Control Room Security Guard - Monitor CCTV systems, access control platforms, intrusion detection, and fire/life safety system.
- Track alarms, suspicious activity, and unususal events, ensuring time escalation.
- Dispatch security personnel or emergency services when required
- Document, report, and escalate incidents in acrdance with established SOPs.
- Maintain communication with field security officers, supervisors and management.
- Log all incidents, alarms and activities into the SOC incident managment system.
- Prepare clear, accurate, and timely reports for management review.
- Operate SOC technology platforms including access control, video managment, and alarm monitoring systems.
- Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
- Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification
- Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
- Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
Qualifications For Control Room Security Guard - Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid security license
- First aid certification
- Strong report writing skills
- Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
- Strong computer and typing skills; proficient with technology
- Experience with monitoring and operation fo video and surveillance systems
- Minimum 1 year Control Room/Disptach experience
- Must be able to work a rotational position, 12 hour shifts, days and nights
