Site Superintendent – Commercial Roofing (Government Projects)

Salary : Up to $100,000 per year + benefits + bonus + vehicle

Location : Albany, NY (with regional travel required)

A well-established construction contractor specializing in commercial roofing, waterproofing, and building restoration is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee projects in Albany and across New York State. With a strong pipeline of government sector work, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of complex roofing projects and lead teams to successful delivery.

Responsibilities :

• Supervise day-to-day operations for commercial roofing and restoration projects.
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, and material deliveries to maintain project flow.
• Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and government contract requirements.
• Work closely with Project Managers to uphold schedules, budgets, and quality control.
• Conduct daily site meetings and provide progress updates to senior leadership.
• Troubleshoot issues proactively to keep projects on track and within scope.
• Travel as needed to multiple government project sites across the region.

Qualifications :

• 5+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent or Foreman in commercial roofing.
• Demonstrated experience on government contracts/projects is strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of roofing systems, construction methods, and compliance requirements.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to direct crews and subcontractors effectively.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• OSHA 30 certification strongly preferred; willingness to travel required.
