Our client is one of the global largest mining company. Official title for the role is Shared Service Applications Lead 

About the Opportunity 

The Enterprise Application Lead will coordinate the application support efforts of the IT team.? This includes SAP S4/Hana support but would also include supporting other enterprise applications like SuccessFactors, Intelex, MS Dynamics, etc. The incumbent will ensure smooth running of the enterprise application environment and will guide, mentor, peer review all the efforts of the team. This is not a people management role but a technical lead roles. 
This role will support the development and implementation of policies, strategies and initiatives that guide the planning, the integration, the acquisition, the deployment, the operation, the enhancement and the support of the business unit’s information infrastructure — the mission-critical business platform for achieving the business unit’s strategic and operational goals. 
In order to succeed?this incumbent needs to do the following: 

• Learn clients processes in 2-3 months?and become a champion of our processes in 6 months 

• Lead by example and understand the tickets the team is working on (put hands on when the team needs?help).? 

• The team does not report to this role, hence this person has to gain respect from the team through knowledge and commitment to the team and to the process? 

Enterprise application stack consists of the following: 

• HRIS (SAP SuccessFactors, ECP) 

• ERP (SAP ECC or SAP S/4 HANA) 

• BI Applications for Financial Reporting (Workiva, SAP BO,SAP BW) 

• EHSC Management System (Intelex) 

• Expense Management (Certify) 

• Sales and Marketing systems (MineMan, Dynamics) 

• Service Desk (Service Now) 

About You 

• Min 5 years of strong hands on experience in supporting SAP S4/HANA ERP with focus on FICO or MM or PM 

• Min 5 years of team leadership experience – leading application support team or Bas during implementation or post implementation 

• Atleast 3 years of experience working in a SOX controlled environment with knowledge on IT General controls (Have you worked in SOX controlled environment and what is your understanding of IT General controls?) 

• Should have Type A personality in order to work with difficult internal stakeholders and vendors 

• Ability to travel 10 to 15 % to mining sites in Peru, US and Canada. 

• Be able to commute 3 days onsite to downtown office 

Bonus Items 

• SAP Certification 

• ITIL Certification 

• Spanish is a big plus 

• Supporting various enterprise applications like CRM, HCM, Sales and Marketing systems, Expense management systems, etc. 

• Mining and manufacturing 

Salary Range 

$140,000/year
