What’s a typical day as a Contract Portfolio Coordinator?

You’ll be:

  • Managing the operational details of a portfolio of transformation projects, reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Transformation Portfolio
  • Maintaining detailed financial tracking, updating forecasts and actuals, and reconciling monthly financials
  • Developing and maintaining portfolio-level schedules and tracking dependencies, milestones, and conducting variance analysis
  • Generating monthly portfolio status reports and analyzing risks, delays, and dependencies for escalation
  • Supporting adherence to capital allocation frameworks and providing input into investment memo financials
  • Co-developing and maintaining value delivery frameworks in alignment with process standards
  • Coordinating with Supply Chain Management, Vendor Management, and vendors on document filing and invoice processing
  • Maintaining trackers for resource requirements, onboarding/offboarding, and portfolio-level RAID items
  • Building and maintaining SharePoint sites, Content Server workspaces, and Teams channels
  • Preparing meeting materials, taking minutes, and supporting team communications and events

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Are legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in project coordination and/or project management
  • Bring experience or familiarity with capital allocation frameworks, project governance, and value delivery frameworks
  • Possess strong skills in financial tracking, schedule monitoring, and stakeholder collaboration
  • Have oil and gas industry experience (asset, not required)
  • Are detail-oriented, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Value transferrable skills and can demonstrate an equivalent combination of experience and education
