You’ll lead, develop, and partner with parents, volunteers, and staff to create spaces where kids are loved, secured, encouraged, and excited to discover life with Jesus!

Specifics

The Children’s Ministry Director will…

• In partnership with the Lead Pastor and Elders, accomplish Richview’s wider mission by developing a vision and specific goals for Children’s Ministry.
• Oversee nursery, pre-school, JK/SK, and student ministries up to grade 6, providing opportunities for ministry on Sunday, throughout the week, Summer Camp, and outreach events.
• Develop teams of volunteers and parents to participate in and lead ministry with an emphasis on community, relationships, and spiritual growth.
• Equip and encourage parents to nurture their children in the Lord at home.
• Oversee and organize supplies, curriculum, materials, and the physical spaces of Children’s Ministry.
• Be involved and engaged in the church’s ministry as a whole.

Job description includes…

• Start Date is Negotiable–No earlier than Jan 1 2026, and no later than Jan 1 2027.
• 40 hrs/week, with the expectation of flexibility from week to week
• $68,886 or higher, depending on experience, education, and merit
• +Benefits, 5% RRSP Contribution, 3 Weeks Paid Vacation

Qualifications

• A follower of Christ, exhibiting the fruit of the Spirit.
• Experience in church ministry and working with children.
• Bachelor’s degree in theology, children’s education, related teaching fi eld, or equivalent certification.
• Agreement with Richview’s Articles of Faith and Statement of Biblical Morality, among other official documents.
