We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial operations at a well-established financial institution in Taylorsville, Kentucky. This role requires a strategic thinker who can oversee financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and accounting operations while driving key business initiatives. The position is fully onsite and offers a competitive compensation package, including a bonus structure.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and oversee the production of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure the organization adheres to state banking regulations and compliance requirements.
• Manage both internal and external audits in collaboration with auditing firms.
• Supervise accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
• Implement and regularly review internal controls and accounting policies to maintain operational integrity.
• Develop financial analyses to support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Partner with executive leadership to create long-term capital plans and financial strategies.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory filings, such as Call Reports.
• Stay updated on changes in banking regulations and accounting standards to ensure compliance.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of banking regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in banking software and financial systems, such as Fiserv.
• Strong analytical skills paired with excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Proven track record of successfully managing month-end closings and annual financial reporting.
• Experience handling audits and maintaining strong, detail-oriented relationships.
• Ability to effectively respond to inquiries and maintain stakeholder relationships.
