We are currently hiring a Carpenter/Framer to join our construction team in Beausejour, Manitoba (multiple job sites). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in framing, rough carpentry, and working on residential and/or commercial job sites. You must be comfortable reading blueprints, working in varying weather conditions, and collaborating with a team to meet project timelines.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans
Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials for framing walls, floors, roofs, etc.
Install windows, doors, and other structural components
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Follow building codes and safety regulations
Work at heights and in outdoor conditions
Maintain clean and organized job sites
Collaborate with other construction professionals (e.g., electricians, plumbers, laborers)
Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and durability of completed structures
Proven experience as a carpenter or framer in residential or commercial construction
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
Proficient with carpentry tools and techniques
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Willingness to work in different locations across Manitoba
Must be punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious
Work Location: Multiple job sites across Manitoba
Schedule: Monday to Friday, occasional weekends as needed
