Job Description

Location: Lévis, Montréal ou Mississauga

Start Date: October 1st 2025

End’s date : September 30th 2026

Work schedule: 37.5 hours/week

Work mode: 100% remote

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a 12-month contract engagement as a Business Systems Analyst.

The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for planning, designing, developing, and deploying effective information systems to support organizational functions and business processes. This includes data collection and analysis, report writing, functional problem-solving, and supporting development projects. The role is focused on the Guidewire Billing Center system.

Responsibilities

Strategy and Planning:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define needs
• Improve system efficiency
• Manage delivery plans and resources
• Provide support for applications in production

Operational Management:

• Write functional specifications and system models
• Define and oversee testing (including user acceptance testing)
• Train users and document processes
• Resolve technical issues and ensure follow-up
• Manage updates and daily system operations

Requirements and Qualifications

• University or college degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems
• Guidewire Billing Center Certified certification required
• More than 10 years of professional experience in a related field
• 5 years of experience in the insurance sector
• 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst
• 5 years of experience with Guidewire Billing Center
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking hardware, and protocols
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, Visio, Project, and policy management systems
• Experience with Agile methodology
• Knowledge of Agency Bill processes, brokerage fees, and commissions

Skills Required

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Clear communication skills, both oral and written
• Attention to detail, efficiency, and independence
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects
• Customer-oriented mindset and team spirit
• Language: English required; bilingualism preferred, as the candidate will collaborate with resources outside Quebec
