Job Description
Lofty Coffee in Encinitas, CA is looking for one barista to join our 12 person strong team. We are located on 90 N Coast Hwy 101 Ste 214. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and reliable.
Compensation: $14 hourly + tips up to $10/hour. Health Benefits for Full-Time employees. Free beverage on-shift. Employee Discount on food, pastries, coffee and retail.

Job Description:
This job contributes to the success of Lofty Co. by deliver exceptional customer service. Our team members must act with integrity, honesty and align with the values and ethos of Lofty Co. All team members must be able to perform all essential functions including but not limited to crafting beverages, food preparation and guest service.
General Duties
• Deliver excellent guest service.
• Craft food and beverages meeting LOFTY quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized café following company standards and guidelines.
• Perform all opening and closing procedures including dishwashing.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Prior cafe, restaurant, retail experience or customer service preferred.
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills with guests, teammates and supervisors.
• Proficient on Square POS and KDS systems.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays to support business needs.
• Must be well organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task under pressure.
• Required to regularly prepare food and beverages while adhering to food safety standards.
