【業務内容】
医療機器向けプロダクトエンジニアリングアーキテクトは、シニアテクニカルリーダーとして、技術基準と規制基準を確実に守りながら、様々な診断・モニタリング医療機器の設計・開発、ライフサイクル管理をリードします。システムエンジニアリングにおける優れたスキルと、お客様のニーズや課題を直接理解し、対話できる能力を持つ候補者を求めています。候補者は、要件定義から製品実現に至るまで、エンジニアリングソリューションの提供を担当し、プロダクトオーナー/システムアーキテクトとしての役割を担います。
コアとなるハードウェア/ソフトウェアの専門知識に加え、すべてのシステム要素を効果的に管理し、オフショアのハードウェア、ソフトウェア、機械チームと協力して、納品時のお客様満足度を確保します。

また、お客様との連携を拡大するための提案を作成することも求められます。腎臓デバイス（透析）の経験をお持ちの方は尚可。お客様とユーザーに満足いただけるソリューションを提供するとともに、Quest Globalの事業投資に大きな価値を生み出すには、専門知識が不可欠です。

【Responsibilities】
An Embedded Software Engineering Architect for medical devices serves as a senior technical leader who guides the design, development and life cycle management of various diagnostic and monitoring medical devices, ensuring adherence to both technical and regulatory standards. Candidates must possess strong system engineering skills and the ability to interface directly with customers to understand their needs and pain points. They will be responsible for providing engineering solutions, spanning from requirement gathering to product realization, and will function as a Product Owner/System Architect. In addition to their core hardware/software expertise, candidates must effectively manage all system elements and collaborate with offshore hardware, software, and mechanical teams to ensure customer satisfaction during delivery. Furthermore, candidates should develop proposals to expand customer engagement. Experience with renal devices (dialysis) is highly preferred.
Your expertise will be crucial in delivering solutions that satisfy customers and users while also
generating significant value for Quest Global's business investments. The ideal candidate will exemplify leadership and serve as an engineering mentor, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement product engineering solutions.

【Hiring Background:】
We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineering Architect for the Japan region, who acts as a SPOC to all the divisions of a major Medical Devices customers. Currently we don’t have a resource to play this role and there is a huge demand for such a position in view of the growing Embedded Product Development business.

スキル・資格

【必須要件】

• 関連分野の学士号、日英バイリンガル能力
• 15年以上の組み込みソフトウェア開発経験
• 組込みC言語に関する豊富な知識を有し、優れた分析能力を有すること
• MCU/SoC上でのOS/RTOS/QNX を使用した組込みソフトウェア設計・開発経験
• システムアーキテクチャの設計、実装、単体テスト、検証、妥当性確認が得意な方
• センサー制御やモーター制御の組込みソフトウェア開発経験
• SPI、I2C、CAN、Ethernet、USBなどの通信プロトコルの深い理解
• OSのコンセプト、マルチスレッドアプリケーション、IPCメカニズム、スケジューリング、メモリ管理に関する十分な理解
• ボードの立ち上げと診断に関するハードウェアの基本的な知識
• JTAG、SWDなどのハードウェアデバッグツールやインターフェイスの使用経験
• コミュニケーション（日本語、英語）スキルが高く、チームでの協働経験があること
• クライアント対応およびオフショア開発チームとの調整
• 開発チームへの技術指導、エンジニアの指導、卓越した技術の模範となること

【歓迎要件】

• 組込みGUI開発経験
• 医療製品開発に関する規制基準およびガイドラインに精通していること（IEC62304 / IEC62366 /
• IEC60601-1-6 / ISO14971）
• 5年以上の医療分野での組込みソフトウェア開発経験

【語学力】

• 日本語：ビジネスレベル / JLPT N2またはそれ以上 (読み書き)

【About the recruitment】
An opportunity is available with a leading Japanese medical device company for a long-term and
scalable engagement. As this is a new business, the selected candidate will become a core member, contributing significantly to the company's growth.
The ideal candidate should have over five years of hands-on experience with electrical design using 3D-CAD. We seek individuals who are proactive, energetic, and possess a positive mindset, eager to collaborate and innovate.
Additionally, the candidate must have strong reading and writing skills in Japanese and be bilingual in English.

【Must Have】

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field with bilingual capability (Japanese and English)
• 15+ Years of Embedded software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Embedded C and have good analytical skills.
• Experience in embedded software design and development using OS/RTOS/QNX on MCU/SoC’s.
• Good at designing system architecture, implementation, unit testing, verification and validation.
• Experience in developing embedded software for sensor control and motor control.
• In-depth understanding of different communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, USB etc.
• Good understanding of OS concepts, multithread applications, IPC mechanisms, scheduling and memory management
• Basic knowledge of Hardware with respect to board bring-up and diagnostics.
• Experience with hardware debugging tools and interface like JTAG, SWD.
• Good interpersonal communication (both Japanese and English) skills and experience in collaborating with the team.
• Client handling and coordination with offshore development team
• Providing technical guidance to the development team, mentoring and guiding engineers, and being a role model for technical excellence.

• Experience in embedded GUI development.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and guidelines for medical product development (IEC 62304, IEC62366, IEC 60601-1-6, ISO 14971)
• 5+ Years of Embedded software development experience in medical domain.
