Job Title: AVP & Loan Officer II
Department: Commercial Loan Center I (HQ Office/OC Satellite Office)

We are looking for AVP & Loan Officer II to join our Commercial Loan Center I (CLC I) team. The AVP & Loan Officer II will be responsible for the underwriting, documentation, processing, and maintenance of lending products and loan files.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite commercial loan products following the bank's loan policy and procedures, and general prudent lending practices.
  • Interview applicants for new loans and discuss loan products and requirements.
  • Site visitations to new and existing borrowers.
  • Work closely with entry level loan officers and demonstrate how to process applications and assess potential risk factors.
  • Maintains high level of awareness in the areas of regulatory compliance, loss prevention, security matters and adherence to the Bank's policies and procedures.
  • Provide quality service to all clients and potential clients of the Bank.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum three years of experience in lending required.
  • Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone.
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or client complaints.
  • Present a professional image in dealing with customers, interdepartmental members, and external representatives.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to retain broad knowledge of lending tasks.
  • Strong analytical skills with a thorough understanding of lending operations and client needs.
  • Accurate typing/keyboarding skills; basic computer skills, including the use of word processing, spreadsheet software applications, and e-mail.
