Improve delivery efficiency and ensure stable delivery capacity based on data
Manage transportation vendors based on KPIs and unit cost (primarily safety, quality, and cost)
Manage logistics claims related to transportation/delivery and plan and implement improvement measures
Participate in and lead various projects (e.g., digital initiatives, pallet transportation, new DC construction)
Source new transportation/delivery vendors and manage regular bidding processes (procurement management)
Negotiate pricing with existing vendors (procurement management)
Oversee routine operations and improve efficiency through team management
Manage internal controls related to transportation/delivery operations
Plan and manage customer service related to transportation/delivery (SLA management)
Approximately 10 years of hands-on experience in transportation and delivery management (including operation management) at a manufacturing company
Basic English proficiency (The main work will be conducted in Japanese, so reading/writing level is sufficient. Willingness to study English is welcomed.)
