About the Role

This role is responsible for purchasing and managing spend within the AMTB Procurement Organization. This position may support and facilitate the strategic sourcing process for Indirect spend categories to include market and industry analysis, supplier research and review, category and supplier segmentation, sourcing events, analysis, negotiations, contracting and implementation. Ensuring the most optimal terms and conditions for AMTB without any negative impact to the service or quality or any disruption on AMTB's production chain.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all purchases on MRO and services PO's up to $2k
• Support the MRO buyers on report out the savings achieved on the contract/agreement negotiations
• Responsible for tracking and keep NA bid list for Indirect and Services supplier’s update
• Also run every new vendor through our risk assessment system Dow Jones
• PO price change report tracking update
• Support Purchasing Director on reporting monthly management report

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience, preferably automotive or manufacturing
• Advanced MS Office skills – PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
• Some demonstration of negotiation skills
