As a member of Barclays’ Investment Banking – Coverage team, you’ll have an exciting chance to support the Japan Banking franchise by managing transactions and assisting senior bankers with client coverage. You’ll liaise with global teams, build relationships, and communicate effectively, and be a part of successful client transactions. Previous experience at a top-tier investment bank or equivalent, a results-driven mindset, and a keen awareness of risk and control are vital. Your ability to foster effective working relationships with colleagues and clients is essential. Furthermore, you may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as well-developed oral and written communication skills, native Japanese/business level English speaking skills, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is regulated by the Japan Securities Dealers Association (JSDA) and/or Financial Futures Association of Japan (FFAJ).
