About the Company? 

Our client is an asset management company. They are looking for an Accounting Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the corporate books and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of related financial information. This individual will work closely with internal teams, external partners, and senior leadership to manage day-to-day accounting tasks, review financial transactions, and support tax and regulatory filings. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities are key to success in this role.

About the Opportunity? 

• Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of the corporate books. 

• Review bookkeeping entries and ensure proper classification and documentation. 

• Review and process investor-related transactions, including: 

• - Capital distributions 

• - Issuance of new units 

• Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts for corporate entities. 

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all corporate tax compliance requirements, including assistance with: 

• - T3, T5013 & T5 slips 

• - HST & EHT filings 

• Coordinate with external accountants, tax advisors, and other stakeholders as needed. 

• Support year-end financial reporting and audit processes. 

• Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time. 

About You? 

• CPA designation or working toward completion (strongly preferred). 

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial reporting. 

• Experience with private equity, asset management, or corporate finance is an asset. 

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. 

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally. 

• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and Excel. 

Salary Range? 

$105,000 - $110,000/year?

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
